A running event held within the framework of the ‘Vietnamese youth say no to cigarettes and e-cigarettes’ programme.

The programme was launched in late May by the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, in coordination with the Tobacco Harm Prevention Fund and the global health organisation Vital Strategies.

It features various activities, including meetings, a running event, and a knowledge contest on the harm of tobacco use on people’s health.

The programme aims to raise awareness among youth union members and the entire community about the harmful effects of tobacco, including electronic cigarettes and heated tobacco products.

It calls on young people to fulfil their commitment to not use tobacco and e-cigarettes, towards building a healthy lifestyle and a smoke-free environment among Vietnamese youth.
