The inauguration ceremony was attended by Hanoi Party Secretary Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan and Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son.

The Hanoi Children’s Hospital is the capital city’s first paediatric hospital, featuring 24 specialised departments.

The project's first stage includes a six-storey building with two main areas: one for medical check-ups and one for inpatient treatment with 200 beds.

The inauguration of the Hanoi Children’s Hospital demonstrates the efforts of Hanoi’s entire political system in carrying out a programme to enhance social welfare and quality of life for the city residents during the 2021-2025 period.

On this occasion, the Hanoi Department of Health was asked to soon invest in the second stage of the hospital so that its capacity would be increased to 500 beds and become a top paediatric hospital in the capital city.
