The event, hosted by Military Hospital 175, aimed to increase awareness of the importance of early recognition of stroke signs through the FAST (Face-Arm-Speech-Time) method, thus reducing mortality and sequelae of this disease.
All participants at the event received a medal and a free stroke risk assessment.
They also learnt to recognise early signs of stroke and modern technologies in stroke treatment at Military Hospital 175.
At the program, saxophonist Tran Manh Tuan, one of the participants at the programme, shared his journey of recovery after suffering a stroke in August 2021. Tuan was taken to the emergency at Military Hospital 175 and was miraculously brought back to life after more than 25 days in the hospital.
