The search was conducted over an area of about 2,000m2 in Phu Binh hamlet (Chau Binh Commune, Giong Trom District, Ben Tre Province) a temporary cemetery during the resistance war against the US, built during wartime in 1961.

Due to difficult weather as well as the askward gathering area and location, the Steering Committee and local branches will organise a force to carry out the gathering during the holidays in order to organise the reburial ceremony on the occasion of the 76th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27).
