The first phase of the plant was built in 2018 which specialises in manufacturing electronic circuit boards, assembling and finishing printer heads, scanners, wifi modules and other electronic components.
Lite-On Group has so far invested 96 million USD in its projects at VSIP Hai Phong.
According to the Chairman of Lite-On Group, the building of the second phase of the factory at VSIP Industrial Park, is part of the group’s plan to accelerate its global production through the expansion of capacity in factories in the United States, Mexico, Thailand and Vietnam.
Lite-On Vietnam has made efforts to expand production in Hai Phong, contributing to raising the amount of FDI capital of Taiwanese enterprises in Hai Phong, to 2 billion USD, out of a total of nearly 24 billion USD of FDI in the city.
Lite-On Vietnam is currently one of the potential partners of famous brands such as Fuji Xerox, Kyocera, ASUS, Amazon, IBM, Motorola, Sony, Samsung, Nokia, Lenovo and others.
