He also worked with the provinces of Bac Ninh and Hung Yen to direct key tasks, especially land clearance, to accelertate the construction of the belt road in the coming time.
Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Dinh Tien Dung appreciated Bac Ninh Province and Hung Yen Province for their companionship and active implementation of the project.
He noted that there remain many difficulties in the implementation of the project, especially land clearance and residential resettlement while the central budget has yet to be allocated.
In Bac Ninh Province, Belt Road No.4 passes through the three districts of Gia Binh, Thuan Thanh, and Que Vo in addition to Bac Ninh City, with a total length of about 35.3km.
Meanwhile, Belt Road No.4 passes through four districts in Hung Yen Province, at 19.3km long.
Leaders of Bac Ninh and Hung Yen all affirmed the importance of the belt road project to local socio-economic development. Secretary of the Hung Yen Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Huu Nghia said that, despite many difficulties, the province is determined to ensure the project’s progress and will complete at least 70% of land clearance by June 2023.
