Bike Life Dong Nai triumphs VTV int’l cycling tournament

Cyclists Loic Desriac and Jordan Parra, members of the Bike Life Dong Nai team, respectively secured the yellow and green jerseys of the VTV International Cycling Tournament - Ton Hoa Sen Cup, which wrapped up in the central province of Quang Nam’s Hoi An city on September 8.

They were followed by Javier Perez of the VUS Ho Chi Minh City team and Quang Van Cuong of the Loc Troi Group crew.

The yellow jersey winner pocketed a prize of VND150 million (US$6,527).

The VTV Cup event featured more than 80 cyclists from 12 local and foreign teams. They raced a total length of 1,045 km through eight stages that cross a series of Vietnam’s popular tourist destinations like Ha Long Bay, the Phong Nha Ke Bang national park, and Complex of Hue Monuments.

The total value of prizes reached VND973 million.
