Le Quoc Minh, member of the Party Central Committee (PCC) and Editor-in-Chief of Nhan Dan Newspaper emphasised that the youth are the nation’s future, and the prosperity of a country largely depends on the younger generation. The government has consistently created opportunities for youth development, with many young people rising to the challenge, contributing to the nation’s progress.

Minh, who is also Deputy Head of the PCC Commission for Communication, Education and Mass Mobilisation, and Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists’ Association said that the event intended to spread powerful messages from the article “A Future for the Rising Generation” by General Secretary To Lam, marking the 94th anniversary of the Youth Union’s founding. It sought to gather insights to support the government in developing policies that build a strong, intellectual, healthy, and culturally rich youth generation.

Thai Huong, Founder and Chairwoman of TH Group, highlighted the importance of developing physical and mental strength of youth, a priority for her group from its inception. She emphasised the need for both governmental support and business collaboration to ensure the nation’s youth is prepared for the new era.

The seminar featured over 20 discussions on enhancing cultural awareness, building health-focused policies, promoting physical education, and fostering youth creativity. Delegates agreed that educating youth in patriotism, ethics, and cultural preservation is essential to building resilient, creative, and compassionate future leaders.

Practical solutions proposed included creating cultural environments, supporting youth entrepreneurship, incorporating traditional culture into education, and improving mental health care. These efforts will help build a well-rounded, dynamic youth capable of contributing to the nation’s sustainable growth.

In the coming months, Nhan Dan Newspaper will continue to host discussions to delve deeper into these topics and spread awareness about policies supporting the development of Vietnam’s youth.
