Praising efforts to overcome difficulties and complete assigned tasks by the 85 trade union officials, the president affirmed that the Party and State always pay special attention to the development of the trade union movement.

He stressed the important role of union leaders in the context of international integration. Along with completing tasks, the union officials should also fulfil their function of representing and protecting the legitimate rights and interest of labourers in their units.

President Sang urged the union’s officials and staff to collect opinions of employees, boldly face challenges, and strengthen efforts to protect the legitimate rights and interests of workers.

The president expressed his belief that the good example set by the 85 trade union leaders would be replicated to contribute to building a strong working class and trade union organisation.
