Taking place from June to September in an online format, at https://stem.olympicenglish.vn, the event will challenge participants with questions on maths, science, environment, and English.
The questions are in English language in order to develop the four skills of listening, speaking, reading, and writing among schoolchildren.
The 10 students with the highest scores each week will receive certificates and scholarships for English-maths, each worth 1 million VND.
Also this summer, the HCYU will host math classes for elementary students from June to July.
In-person classes will open in Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ninh, Thai Nguyen, Nam Dinh, Ha Nam, Phu Tho, Hung Yen, Bac Ninh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Binh Dinh, Thua Thien - Hue, Da Nang, and Can Tho. Each class will have 20-25 students with a 60-minute duration.
Students can also attend online classes at https://ames.englishcity.vn/. The deadline for registration for the classes is June 25.
