Vietnamese businesses and diplomats from many African countries gathered at the “Meet Africa 2025” event held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on December 11.

At the invitations of Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al Sabah, Algerian Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb and South African President Matamela Cyril Ramaphosa, who is also Chair of the G20 in 2025, Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, his spouse and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation are paying official visits to Kuwait and Algeria, and attending the G20 Summit and bilateral activities in South Africa from November 16-24.

State President Luong Cuong's freshly-ended visits to Egypt and Angola not only reaffirmed Viet Nam’s enduring solidarity with its long-standing African partners, but also helped advance its comprehensive cooperation with regional countries across key areas, particularly in market and partner diversification in support of the country’s broader development goals, according to Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Bui Thanh Son.

State President Luong Cuong and a high-ranking Vietnamese delegation had a working session with Vietnamese Ambassadors to African countries in Cairo on August 3 evening on the occasion of his state visit to Egypt.

Vietnamese Ambassador Tran Thi Thu Thin on June 2 presented her credentials to President of Mauritius Dharambeer Gokhool, who affirmed that Mauritius always highly values and wishes to deepen its traditional cooperation and friendship with Viet Nam.
