The National Payment Corporation of Viet Nam (NAPAS) announced the launch of a cross-border QR payment service between Viet Nam and the Republic of Korea on April 23.

Deputy Prime Minister Ho Duc Phoc has just signed Official Dispatch No.124/CD-TTg dated July 30, 2025 of the Prime Minister to ministries, branches and localities on promoting cashless payment.

The State Bank of Viet Nam (SBV), in coordination with the Banking Times and Tuoi Tre (Youth) Newspaper, held a press conference to announce the Cashless Day 2025 programme under the theme “Cashless Payments Driving the Digital Economy, in Ho Chi Minh City, on June 2.
