The Deputy Prime Minister requested ministries, branches and localities to urgently implement solutions to promote non-cash payments; strengthen direction, guidance and communication to continue promoting the development of non-cash payments, ensuring to meet the payment needs of people and businesses, prevent tax losses and crimes; strictly handle violations of the law.
The Ministry of Finance shall preside over and coordinate with relevant ministries and branches to strengthen inspection, examination and close supervision of state budget payment activities, compliance with legal regulations on invoices and payment documents for purchase and sale, transactions of goods and services, etc.; promptly and strictly handle violations, especially intentional payment in cash to evade taxes.
The dispatch clearly stated that the State Bank shall preside over and coordinate with ministries and branches to urgently deploy tasks and solutions to promote the development of non-cash payments; summarise the implementation of the Project on developing non-cash payments for the 2021-2025 period, and report to the Prime Minister before December 1, 2025.
