Reporting to the delegation, the An Giang Provincial Election Committee said the locality has strictly implemented directives from central authorities, particularly Directive No. 46-CT/TW of the Politburo and Directive No. 28/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister.

As a border locality with a particularly important strategic position in national defence and security, the An Giang Provincial Police have coordinated closely with local authorities to identify 2,712 polling stations.

To date, the review and assignment of voters have been completed, with more than 3.6 million voters across the province; and the consultation and nomination process has been carried out in accordance with regulations, receiving broad consensus and without any emerging public controversy.
