The People’s Council of An Giang province decided to invest in a metro line project, section 1 in Phu Quoc under the public-private partnership method with a total investment of nearly 9 trillion VND.

A trade promotion conference was held by the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) in collaboration with the Cambodian Ministry of Commerce, in An Giang province on October 17, in efforts to foster economic cooperation and achieve the trade target of 20 billion USD.

As the most populous province in the Southwest region and more than 200km south of Ho Chi Minh City, An Giang has the typical cultural feature of a city in the Mekong Delta region, with a floating market, boat racing festival, brilliant Khmer pagodas and blooming water lily flowers.
