The rapid growth of short films on digital platforms is creating greater opportunities for creativity and audience engagement, but it is also raising a number of concerns. The Cinema Department under the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism has asked platforms to review their operations and prevent the distribution of content that does not fully comply with regulations.

Over the past period, numerous public services have been brought onto digital platforms, with the rate of online dossiers reaching a high level. However, behind digital interfaces, manual processing steps and requirements for paper documents still remain. The Film Department, the Viet Nam Tourism Development Support Fund, the Viet Nam National Museum of History, the VTC Multimedia Corporation, and YouTube have jointly announced a cooperation programme to strengthen capacity for developing a digital content ecosystem.
