Viet Nam’s national digital transformation is advancing at an unprecedented pace. Data, digital platforms, and information systems have become crucial assets of the State, businesses, and citizens. Ensuring the security of digital assets is not only a technical requirement but also a core factor in safeguarding digital sovereignty, ensuring national security, and strengthening digital trust.

The Film Department, the Viet Nam Tourism Development Support Fund, the Viet Nam National Museum of History, the VTC Multimedia Corporation, and YouTube have jointly announced a cooperation programme to strengthen capacity for developing a digital content ecosystem.

Shifting from traditional sales methods, many agricultural cooperatives have proactively brought their products onto e-commerce platforms. This transition has given rise to a new generation of “farmer-traders”, helping to enhance the value of Vietnamese agricultural products in the digital era.

The Vietnamese and Lao Ministries of Industry and Trade jointly organised a thematic seminar on promoting cross-border e-commerce between the two countries in Vientiane on July 18.
