The Party and State's proactive efforts to collect feedback from overseas Vietnamese on draft documents of the 14th National Party Congress, constitutional amendments, and the formulation of major resolutions and laws represent the country’s “important step forward that demonstrates strategic vision and proactive governance,” reflecting renewed thinking in people-to-people diplomacy and the policy of great national unity.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh called on people across the country to provide greater assistance for south-central localities affected by recent floods while addressing the opening ceremony of the “Great National Unity – Vietnamese Cultural Heritage" Week 2025 in Ha Noi on November 24.

Party General Secretary To Lam attended the 2025 Great National Unity Festival in Thuong Cat ward, Ha Noi, on November 14, during which he affirmed that national unity is a tradition, a priceless legacy of the nation’s forebears, and the source of all achievements and victories of the Vietnamese people.

Participating in the parade at the ceremony marking the 80th Anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam (A80) at Ba Dinh Square on September 2 will be 13 mass blocs, including the bloc of overseas Vietnamese. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, this will be the first time that an overseas Vietnamese bloc has joined the parade at the anniversary ceremony.

Great national unity is a core element that determines the success of the cause of national construction and defence. Today’s digital social environment offers numerous opportunities, but also presents considerable challenges, requiring changes in both thinking and methods of construction to further strengthen the unity of the entire nation.
