Addressing a meeting of the Party Organisation of the VFF and central mass organisations to roll out key tasks for 2026, Tu requested the VFF and its member organisations to better promote their role in mobilising members and citizens to actively participate in patriotic emulation movements, practice democracy, and build social consensus to successfully realise political goals, as this year is marked by major national events.
He emphasised the need for continued innovation in thinking, action and operational methods; the consolidation of the great national unity bloc; the strict and effective implementation of Party resolutions, directives, and conclusions; and exemplary leadership characterised by the spirit of daring to think big, act bold and take responsibility for the common good.
Particular importance must be attached to strengthening grassroots engagement, with Party members working in the Front and mass organisations required to uphold the principles of being close to the people, close to the grassroots, and close to the digital space; actively engaging in dialogue, serving as role models, taking responsibility and reporting results; and avoiding formalism, evasion of responsibility, buck-passing and overstepping mandates.
The Party Organisation of the VFF and mass organisations should prioritise improving the quality of training and capacity building for officials. Social welfare programmes should be governed by clear timelines, measurable outcomes and impact indicators, and be subject to regular public evaluation with feedback from beneficiaries.
Expressing confidence in the unity, resolve and aspirations to rise, the standing member of the Secretariat said that building on the achievements of 2025, the Party Organisation will further enhance effectiveness and innovation, broaden public participation in the great national unity bloc, strengthen the close bond between the Party, local authorities and the people, and make a meaningful contribution to the successful implementation of the 14th National Party Congress’s Resolution and the country’s renewal and development cause.
Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Committee of the VFF and mass organisations and President of the VFF Central Committee, affirmed that the entire Party Organisation will swiftly translate these directions into concrete programmes and plans for 2026 and beyond, with the highest political determination and concerted efforts to fulfill the resolution of its first Congress for the 2025–2030 term, and contribute to the successful implementation of the 14th National Party Congress’s Resolution.
She highlighted priorities including the preparations for the elections of deputies to the 16th National Assembly and the People’s Councils at all levels for the 2026–2031 term, the organisation of the congress of the VFF and socio-political and mass organisations, the removal of institutional bottlenecks, acceleration of digital transformation, and further innovation in operational methods toward practicality and efficiency, with a strong grassroots orientation.
