On the occasion of the 72nd anniversary of the Dien Bien Phu Victory, the Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, People’s Council, People’s Committee and Viet Nam Fatherland Front Committee of Dien Bien province organised a candle-lighting ceremony in tribute to heroes and martyrs at the national martyrs’ cemeteries in the area, including A1, Him Lam, Doc Lap and Tong Khao, as well as a floating lantern ceremony on the Nam Rom River.
