Draft amendments to the Land Law, the Law on Housing, and the Law on Real Estate Business are the discussion focus of legislators on October 22, part of the second session of the 16th National Assembly (NA).

The National Assembly (NA) Standing Committee took up a draft revised Law on Housing and a draft amended Law on Real Estate Business in Ha Noi on October 2 morning as part of its ongoing seventh session.

During the session, the NA Standing Committee will give opinions on a number of draft laws, namely the revised Land Law, the revised Housing Law, the revised Law on Real Estate Business, the Law on Legal Normative Documents, and the consolidated Law on the State Budget.

Prime Minister Le Minh Hung has called for continued improvements to Viet Nam’s legal framework to remove institutional bottlenecks, unlock resources and create stronger foundations for socio-economic development.

Prime Minister Le Minh Hung on September 9 chaired a meeting with relevant ministries and agencies to review several draft amended laws, including the Land Law, Housing Law and Law on Real Estate Business, ahead of the completion of dossiers for submission to the Government and the National Assembly for consideration and approval.
