National Assembly (NA) Vice President Nguyen Khac Dinh, who is also Chairman of the Viet Nam-Russia Friendship Parliamentarians’ Group, chaired an online meeting with the Russian Federation Council’s group for cooperation with the Vietnamese NA in Ha Noi on September 25.

Talking to Viet Nam News Agency correspondents in Italy, Giulio Chinappi, an Italian political analyst from the Centre for Mediterranean Eurasia Studies (CeSEM) said the state visit to Russia came at a special time as the two countries look towards more than 75 years of diplomatic relations. Vietnamese youth and students in Russia gathered in Moscow on August 23 to enjoy the political-artistic programme “Fatherland in Our Hearts” live on Nhan Dan Newspaper’s digital platforms.
