Ha Noi has won the Viet Nam Smart City Award 2025 in the smart public services category.

Ha Noi has been accelerating the development of a green, smart and modern urban model, closely aligned with sustainable development and the preservation of cultural identity. These major orientations have been translated into key planning frameworks, laying the foundation for the capital to continue playing its role as a driving force for the region and the country as a whole.

The 17th Congress of the Party Organisation of Hue city concluded on October 4, after successfully adopting key targets and electing new leadership for the 2025–2030 tenure.

Greater focus on smart urban development is key to advancing the digital and urban economy, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Chi Dung stated at the first meeting of the inter-agency task force for coordinating smart city construction and development in Ha Noi on July 16.

With support from the Binh Dinh Provincial Department of Science and Technology and the Center for Developing Information Technology And Geographic Information System - DITAGIS at Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology, a model titled “Research and Development of a Standardised Planning Information Database and Online Lookup System” has been implemented.
