When love for Viet Nam’s seas and islands is cultivated in schools

Love begins with the simple things. When it comes to love for the seas and islands of the homeland, it may begin with a question raised in class, a page in a book depicting images of Truong Sa (Spartly) and Hoang Sa (Paracel), the first time a student hears stories of maritime patrols, or the moment a student confidently provides the correct answer to a question about the nation’s sovereignty over its seas and islands.

Vietnamese youth in Thailand turn aspirations into action

1.6 million teachers and 26 million students begin new academic year

On the morning of September 5, 1.6 million teachers and 26 million students nationwide attended the opening ceremony for the 2025-2026 academic year. The ceremony was organised alongside activities marking the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the Ministry of Education and Training, creating a joyful atmosphere that spread the spirit of innovation and creativity, aiming for an effective and high-quality academic year.
