President of the European Council Antonio Costa visited the Temple of Literature, a special national relic site, in Ha Noi on January 29.
President of the European Council (EC) António Costa on January 29 visited Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature), a symbol of Viet Nam’s tradition of learning and the country’s first university, as part of his two-day official visit to Viet Nam.
A photo exhibition opened on November 6 at the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam), Ha Noi, featuring a valuable collection by French photographer Firmin-André Salles that captured vivid images of Viet Nam’s Confucian education and examination traditions in the late 1800s.
The “Heritage Convergence” programme, a highlight of the Thang Long – Ha Noi Festival 2025, officially opened at the Temple of Literature on November 1.
In recent years, Ha Noi has achieved notable success in building a distinctive culture and nurturing the character of its citizens. As the city enters a new stage of development, the effort to cultivate Ha Noi’s culture and people requires new criteria and breakthrough solutions to meet the demands of a new era of rising.
