The 2026 Spring Calligraphy Festival at the Temple of Literature is held under the theme “National Learning”, marking the 950th anniversary of Quoc Tu Giam, the first national university of Dai Viet. The event features 35 calligraphy tents, with scholars selected through a rigorous process to ensure quality and credibility.

A photo exhibition opened on November 6 at the Temple of Literature (Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam), Ha Noi, featuring a valuable collection by French photographer Firmin-André Salles that captured vivid images of Viet Nam’s Confucian education and examination traditions in the late 1800s.

The “Heritage Convergence” programme, a highlight of the Thang Long – Ha Noi Festival 2025, officially opened at the Temple of Literature on November 1.

In recent years, Ha Noi has achieved notable success in building a distinctive culture and nurturing the character of its citizens. Nine-teen fine artworks featuring the perspectives on the national cultural heritages are on display at an exhibition, which officially opened at Van Mieu – Quoc Tu Giam (Temple of Literature).
