To ensure security, public order and traffic safety for the 14th National Party Congress, to be held from January 19 to 25 at the National Convention Centre in Ha Noi’s Tu Liem ward, Ha Noi Police have announced traffic diversion and regulation plans on key roads across the capital city.

The number of traffic accidents nationwide on January 4 (the final day of the New Year holiday) fell by more than 25% compared with the same day last year, reflecting positive results from traffic safety enforcement efforts, though violations remained high with over 12,000 cases handled.

The Prime Minister sent condolences to the bereaved families and wished the injured a swift recovery. He instructed provincial authorities, police and medical units to respond immediately at the scene.

Ha Noi Transport Station JSC plans to add 1,000 buses to best meet public travel demand during the National Day holiday from August 30 to September 2, according to its Director Pham Manh Hung.
