The Soc Son Waste-to-Energy Plant — the largest in Viet Nam and the second biggest in the world — was officially inaugurated in Trung Gia commune, Ha Noi, on October 13.

While epidemics are still latent and diseases are appearing in increasingly frequency among younger people, the young are gradually joining the elderly in changing their mindset: visiting doctors while they are still healthy, getting early screening for diseases, and getting checked when there are no symptoms. Proactive healthcare is becoming a "smart lifestyle", when disease prevention is as important as treatment.
