First national semiconductor chip prototyping support centre makes debut

The Ministry of Science and Technology (MoST) on June 26 unveiled the Viet Nam National Multi-Project Wafer Coordination Centre (VNMPW/CC) - the first national centre dedicated to supporting semiconductor chip prototyping, marking a key step in connecting domestic chip research and design with the global semiconductor manufacturing ecosystem.

Vietnamese language honoured, cultural values promoted in Belarus

Founded in Minsk in July 2016 with just 20 students aged between seven and 14, the class has grown steadily under the dedicated guidance of teacher Nguyen Phuong Dung. Over the past decade, it has provided second- and third-generation Vietnamese children born and raised in Belarus with a valuable opportunity to learn their mother tongue and stay connected to their cultural roots.

Viet Nam, Thailand strengthen investment ties, smart city cooperation

Thailand is currently Viet Nam's largest trading partner within ASEAN, while Viet Nam ranks as Thailand's sixth-largest trading partner globally. Bilateral trade reached 22.07 billion USD in 2025, with both sides aiming to increase the figure to 25 billion USD in the coming years. Thailand also has 805 valid investment projects in Viet Nam with a combined registered capital of 15.4 billion USD.

Viet Nam, UK seek to lift bilateral trade to 10 billion USD

At the meeting, Foreign Minister Le Hoai Trung thanked the UK for its high-level participation in the ASEAN Future Forum and reaffirmed Viet Nam’s support for stronger ASEAN–UK ties. Marking five years of the ASEAN–UK Dialogue Partnership, he stressed Viet Nam’s determination to effectively fulfil its role as ASEAN Coordinator for relations with the UK for the 2024–2027 period.
