On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam (September 2, 1945 – 2025), the Vietnamese Embassy in Laos organised meaningful activities under the theme “Towards the Homeland” on August 25, expressing the affection, pride and gratitude of the Vietnamese community in Laos towards their motherland.

Vietnamese Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan and her Lao counterpart Pany Yathotou attended a ceremony in Vientiane on August 22 to recognise the “Truong Son Trail – Ho Chi Minh Trail in Laos” as a national historical relic of the country.
