The official visit to Thailand by General Secretary of the Communist Party of Viet Nam (CPV) and President of Viet Nam To Lam is expected to inject fresh momentum into the dynamic and strategic bilateral relationship, a Thai scholar has said.

Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission and Minister of National Defence Gen. Phan Van Giang hosted a reception in Ha Noi on July 5 for Chief of Defence Forces of Thailand Gen. Songwit Noonpackdee, who is on an official visit to Viet Nam.
