Thai Son Nam entered the game with confidence and strong determination after achieving the impressive feat of reaching the semi-finals at the regional tournament for the first time.

Thai Son Nam surprised everyone when Trong Luan opened the scoring in only the second minute. However, Al Qadsia reversed the situation by two goals from Abdulrahman Alwadi and another from Mohammad Taheri.

In the second half, Vietnamese representatives played better and sharper. Phung Trong Luan and Artur Yunusov in turn scored two goals to equalise the score at 3-3, forcing the game into extra time.

Despite the efforts of both two teams, there were no more goals during the remaining minutes, forcing the match to be decided on penalties.

Two shots by Yunusov and Tran Van Vu were blocked by goalkeeper Ebraheem from Kuwait, causing Thai Son Nam to unfortunately lose 4-5 to Al Qadsia and officially say goodbye to the tournament.

The 2015 AFC Futsal Club Championship is taking place in Isfahan, Iran from July 31 to August 7.
