The top three positions on the 2020 ARWU ranking are Harvard, Stanford and Cambridge, respectively.
ARWU is one of the most influential university rankings in the world, with its league table compiled based on the quality of education, the quality of faculty, research output and per capita performance, whose respective weights are 10%, 40%, 40% and 10%.
It has been publishing the list of the top universities in the world annually since 2003.

The university leaders expect that, so long as it maintains its current development path, it will be in the ARWU’s top 500 group in less than three years .
