The launch of the high-speed shipping service is expected to contribute to promoting the development of tourism, waterway transport and the marine economy in Ca Mau and other provinces.

In the near future, Ca Mau will temporarily open an inland wharf in Song Doc town, Tran Van Thoi district to facilitate the operation of the sea route in 2020. In the long term, the province will invest in building a 500m seaport at the south bank of Song Doc.

The new sea route is expected to not only create a breakthrough in tourism development but also contribute to stimulating local socio-economic development.
