Various activities will be organised at the H’mong panpipe festival, which will open in Dong Van district, Ha Giang province, on March 25.

The highlights of the event include a cuisine festival in Ha Giang city from March 23 to 26, and a panpipe competition on March 11 and 12.

In response to the festival, the tourism sector of Dong Van, Meo Vac, Yen Minh, and Quan Ba will launch assorted cultural events, folk games, and new tourist products for visitors to the localities.

The festival aims to honour panpipe and panpipe performances, which play an important role in the spiritual life of the H’mong ethnic group in Ha Giang.

It also provides a meeting venue for local ethnic groups to introduce their cultural features and cuisine as well as the tourism potential of Ha Giang province to visitors near and far.
