Viet Nam and Singapore promote training cooperation for leaders and managers

The Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Temasek Foundation, and Ho Chi Minh National Political Academy have coordinated to launch the third research and exchange programme of the project on potential Vietnamese leaders in Singapore.

The programme will take place in Singapore from July 14-18. The Vietnamese delegation led by Huynh Thanh Dat, Deputy Head of the Party Central Committee’s Commission for Communication, Education and Mass Mobilisation.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Huynh Thanh Dat shared that the third research and exchange programme for potential Vietnamese leaders is not only an opportunity for trainees to access new knowledge and precious experiences of Singapore in national governance, economic development, digital transformation, and technology application but also to promote understandings and boost confidence and friendship between the two countries.

Through dialogues with leading Singaporean leaders, scholars and experts and field trips, trainees expect to gain more comprehensive and in-depth look over great successes of Singapore.
