Lam Thi Phuong Thanh extended her warm congratulations on the major achievements attained by the Communist Party of China, the Chinese State and people over 77 years of national development.

In particular, over the past decade, under the leadership of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, with General Secretary and President Xi Jinping at its core, China has successfully built a moderately prosperous society in all respects, bringing greater prosperity and happiness to its people. The country has continued to grow in strength and stature and has played an increasingly important role in global security, development, civilisation and governance.

Highlighting the strong, substantive and comprehensive development of Viet Nam-China relations in line with the strategic orientations agreed by the two countries’ senior leaders, Lam Thi Phuong Thanh affirmed that, as both nations embark on a new stage of development, the Party, State and people of Viet Nam stand ready to continue working alongside and supporting their Chinese counterparts for mutual development.

Viet Nam is also ready to work with China and other countries to promote multilateralism, solidarity and international cooperation, effectively address common challenges, and make positive contributions to peace, stability, cooperation and development in the region and the world.

Speaking at the reception, Wang Qun, Chargé d’Affaires of the Chinese Embassy in Viet Nam, said bilateral relations are currently enjoying a very positive period of development.

He affirmed that, as the two countries enter a new historical starting point, China stands ready to work alongside Viet Nam and continue its efforts to support the industrialisation, modernisation and socialist development of both countries.

Through high-quality and mutually beneficial cooperation, the two sides will inject fresh impetus into their respective development and work together to open a new chapter in building a China-Viet Nam community with a shared future of strategic significance at a higher level.
