Speaking at the event, Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chair of the Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, affirmed that this is a particularly important event, providing Quang Ninh with stronger confidence in connecting tourism enterprises at home and abroad, and opening new opportunities for cooperation with tourism businesses across the province.
Quang Ninh has always regarded domestic and international travel enterprises as its foremost strategic partners. The province’s visions and strategic orientations can only be transformed into vibrant reality through the bridging role of travel businesses.
“Viet Nam Travel Day 2025” is expected to become an annual activity, contributing to the creation of a space for connection, cooperation, and the promotion of professional tourism products and services; affirming the pioneering role of the travel sector in sustainable tourism development.
The event is part of the Action Programme implementing the Government’s Resolution 226/NQ-CP on promoting tourism growth, while supporting Quang Ninh in attracting visitors.
“Viet Nam Travel Day 2025” comprises three main activities. Of these, the B2B Trade Connection Programme (business-to-business) features thousands of meetings, discussions, and cooperation signings between 120 international enterprises and around 300 Vietnamese travel and tourism service businesses.
With the aim of creating a large-scale tourism trade forum, the programme has attracted strong attention from domestic and international partners, businesses and the media. It is not only a specialised B2B fair, but also a converging space for connection and collaboration, inspiring broader industry-wide cooperation. Here, units work directly, provide consultation and seek partners to build a strong transaction network for the tourism sector.
The Viet Nam Travel Day 2025 Forum aims to discuss strategic solutions to promote the development of Vietnamese travel services, renewing mindsets and practices in a period of national advancement.
Alongside the forum is the Quang Ninh Destination Introduction Programme and product surveys, offering experiences such as Ha Long Bay, Bai Tu Long Bay, and Yen Tu, combined with the promotion of local culinary culture.
The opening ceremony also featured the signing of memoranda of cooperation between the Quang Ninh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and domestic localities and travel enterprises.
