Vietnam and RoK promote cooperation in fostering leaders and managers

Prof. Dr Nguyen Xuan Thang, Politburo member, Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics (HCMA) and Chairman of the Central Theory Council, received Kim Chae-Hwan, President of the National Public Officials Human Resources Development Institute (NHI) in the Republic of Korea (RoK). on November 7.

At the meeting, Nguyen Xuan Thang and Kim Chae-Hwan discussed cooperation activities in training, delegation exchange, experience sharing, and the past joint research between the NHI and the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics through funding from KOICA (Korea International Cooperation Agency in Vietnam).

The Director of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics also discussed in detail with the NHI President about the results of the research and survey trip of the delegation, including the training course to update knowledge and skills for planned personnel who are being groomed for membership of the 14th Party Central Committee.

Kim Chae-Hwan thanked Nguyen Xuan Thang for taking the time to meet and work with him. He expressed that the NHI is always ready to cooperate with the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics to continue implementing training programmes, fostering leaders and managers, promoting exchange programmes and research, and sharing experiences in policy consulting for the Party and the State.
