Speaking at the festival, the Director of the Department of Education and Training, Chairman of the Vietnam - Australia Friendship Association in Hanoi, Tran The Cuong said that in 2023, Vietnam and Australia are actively coordinating to prepare activities to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Australia - Vietnam diplomatic relations and the 5th anniversary of the establishment of a strategic partnership.

The Chairman of the Vietnam - Australia Friendship Association in Hanoi expressed his hope that the union would have practical activities, opening up opportunities for cooperation in the fields of training, especially vocational training, trade, tourism and fashion, between Vietnam and Australia.
The Vietnam - Australia Food and Culture Festival 2023 aims to introduce the typical culture and cuisine of the two countries, and create opportunities for exchanges between Vietnam - Australia friendship branches and the Australian Embassy and the Australian business community in Vietnam.
The festival also contributes to strengthening the friendship and understanding of culture, tourism and cuisine between the two countries.
