The festival, themed “National Soul – Taste of Homeland”, will feature about 80 stalls with the cuisine of three regions around the country.
A wide variety of attractive activities will be held during the festival, including an opening ceremony with art performances, highlighting the culture and specialities of all regions, a culinary fair, a workshop introducing the quintessence of Vietnamese cuisine and a music programme entitled Sunset Chill.
General Director of the Vietnam National Administration of Tourism Nguyen Trung Khanh said the festival is an important cultural and culinary event, aiming to honour the diversification and uniqueness, of the culture and cuisine of the country in the general and central region in particular.
The 2023 Cultural and Culinary Festival is also expected to attract more visitors to Quang Tri Province, contributing to promoting local tourism development.
