Vietnam to attend SIAL Paris 2012

Nhan Dan – Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai recently announced that Vietnam is preparing to attend the SIAL Paris Global Food Exhibition 2012 at Paris Nord Villepinte in France from October 21-25.

Vietnamese businesses attending the event will have the opportunity to promote their products and seek contracts with international partners, especially those from France the other countries in Europe.

Vietnam plans to display its farm produce such as cashew nuts, coffee, pepper, spices, and tea; processed seafood including tra fish, tuna, and shrimp, vegetables, and fresh and canned fruit.

The SIAL is the world’s foremost food exhibition and is held every two years. Over 136,000 food industry professionals visited SIAL 2010, which featured 5,838 French and international exhibitors.
