Vietnam win 2023 Asia Women’s Club Volleyball Championship

After 8 days of exciting competition, the 2023 Asian Women’s Club Volleyball Championship wrapped up in the northern province of Vinh Phuc on May 2, with the championship going to Vietnam.

The second prize went to Diamond Food Fine of Thailand. Meanwhile, Liaoning Donghua of China secured the third prize, followed by the King Whale Taipei team of Taiwan (China).

All matches took place with enthusiastic cheers from the audience at Vinh Phuc Provincial Gymnasium. The gymnasium has a capacity of 2,600 seats; all matches were full of spectators.

The tournament brought together nine teams from host Vietnam, Iran, Japan, Taiwan (China), Kazakhstan, Thailand, China, Mongolia, and Hong Kong (China).

Participating teams were divided into two groups in a round-robin format. Based on the results of the group stage, the teams competed for the first to fourth and from fifth to ninth places.
