The ambassador expressed his belief that in 2025, the Embassy of Laos will continue to work effectively with the Embassy of Vietnam on various tasks and activities in the host country.
Ambassador Siphandone Oybuabuddy sincerely thanked Ambassador Dang Minh Khoi and the staff of the Vietnamese Embassy for their congratulations and for sharing the joy of the Lao people on the occasion of the traditional Bunpimay Festival.
For his part, Ambassador Siphandone Oybuabuddy highly appreciated the recent activities of the Vietnamese Embassy and expressed his hope that the two sides will continue to coordinate in organising cultural exchange events, thereby further promoting the great friendship, special solidarity, and comprehensive cooperation between Laos and Vietnam.

In the warm and festive atmosphere of the traditional Bunpimay celebration, the two ambassadors, along with their spouses, diplomats, and staff members of both embassies, enjoyed traditional Lao dishes, joined together in the Lamvong dance, and performed the sacred thread-tying ritual, wishing for a peaceful and joyful New Year.
