The programme demonstrates the determination of Gia Lai leaders and young people from the three countries to preserve and promote their long-standing traditional friendship.
This year’s programme convenes 125 delegates, with each participating province sending 15 delegates, while Gia Lai is represented by 20 youth officials, young entrepreneurs, and outstanding association members.
Over four days of vibrant activities, young people will have the opportunity to gain deeper insights into the culture, history, and economies of the three countries.
Speaking at the programme, Gia Lai Chairman Pham Anh Tuan emphasised: “Viet Nam, Laos, and Cambodia are close neighbours with a long-standing traditional friendship. We have stood shoulder to shoulder and supported one another through difficult periods in history, and today continue to work together in national construction, defence, and development. This relationship is an invaluable asset painstakingly built by previous generations.”
Gia Lai has been strategically identified as a critical hub connecting the region’s development triangle, with interconnected economic corridors running from the Central Highlands through the Le Thanh International Border Gate to Cambodia, along National Highway 14 to Bo Y and southern Laos, and linking to the central coastal port system via National Highway 19.
Tuan stressed that potential only truly matters when it is translated into concrete results, while calling on young people from the three countries to take the lead in turning these advantages into practical economic cooperation.
At the discussion sessions, in addition to face-to-face exchanges, the delegations will visit exemplary factories and businesses and experience the activities at the International Centre for Interdisciplinary Science and Education (ICISE).
