Hung conveyed his warmest greetings to Lao Ambassador Sisavath Inphachanh, his family and the embassy’s staff, affirming Viet Nam’s pride in Laos’ achievements in national construction and development. He expressed his hope that Laos will maintain political stability and peace, and make further progress under the leadership of the Lao People’s Revolutionary Party.
For his part, Sisavath Inphachanh expressed sincere appreciation for the visit and wishes from the Vietnamese side, underscoring the close-knit and special ties between the two embassies, reflected through regular exchanges and interactions.
The Lao ambassador expressed his gratitude to the Party, State and Government of Viet Nam for their continued support to Laos, particularly amid the global energy challenges stemming from conflicts in the Middle East, which have adversely affected many economies, including Laos. He voiced confidence that bilateral cooperation will continue to expand, with more joint projects in the pipeline.
The two ambassadors also briefed each other on their respective activities in Thailand and expressed a shared desire to further strengthen coordination and promote more joint initiatives to help reinforce the solidarity and close friendship between the peoples of Viet Nam and Laos.
