Prior to this partnership, both sides had already embarked on individual journeys to foster a horse-loving culture in Viet Nam. This cooperation marks the culmination of a long-held strategic vision.
Recognising early the immense potential of Viet Nam’s equestrian economy, Rong Vang Company, under the leadership of Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Minh Ha, proactively implemented a methodical and long-term market development strategy. By promoting a deeper understanding and appreciation of horses, Rong Vang quietly planted the first seeds of a future industry.
Meanwhile, Vingroup, with its vision of delivering premium products for Viet Nam’s elite class, positioned itself as a cultural hub for spreading passion and knowledge about horses.
Now sharing the same vision and mission, Vingroup and Rong Vang aim to build a sustainable and high-end equestrian culture in Viet Nam. Together, they plan to develop a range of horse-related projects in the near future.
This exclusive strategic partnership reflects a bold ambition to establish a comprehensive equestrian economic ecosystem in Viet Nam. The two companies are not only promoting a sport but are also laying the foundation for a nascent industry—one that encompasses professional horse training and trading, alongside the creation of international-standard services and events.
At the signing ceremony, Vingroup and Rong Vang committed to working together to create a complete and sustainable value chain, elevating Viet Nam’s horse industry to new heights. In this historic partnership, Rong Vang will take on several key roles including shaping and developing a high-end customer segment, operating and optimising a nationwide network, building influence through high-level communications and events, and leading strategic thinking for the future.
The partnership between Rong Vang and Vinpearl is a testament to the pioneering spirit and ambition of Vietnamese enterprises in exploring high-potential sectors and generating new economic value for the country. With the potential to create a brand-new industry that attracts investment, generates employment, and contributes significantly to GDP, this model serves as an exemplar of the proactive and innovative approach of Vietnamese businesses in the era of integration.
With the collaboration of like-minded and dedicated enterprises such as Rong Vang and Vinpearl, Viet Nam’s still-nascent equestrian economy is expected to become one of the country's hallmark industries, contributing to the country’s prosperity.
Rong Vang has also been selected as the exclusive partner of Charmvit—a multi-sector corporation from the Republic of Korea (RoK)—in developing a large-scale multifunctional entertainment and horse racing complex in Viet Nam. The company holds exclusive rights to develop a network of agents in all 63 provinces.
Located in Tan Minh and Phu Linh Communes, Soc Son District, Ha Noi, the horse racing complex is a legally established project under Decree No. 06/2017/ND-CP dated January 24, 2017, on betting business in horse racing, greyhound racing, and international football; and Consolidated Document No. 07/VBHN-BTC dated January 17, 2019, regarding betting business in horse racing. The total investment in the complex reaches 9.577 trillion VND, equivalent to 420 million USD, covering an area of 125 hectares.
