The awards received 265 entries from 40 press agencies and units, including 96 works for print outlets, 113 for online newspapers, 17 for radio programmes, and 39 for television programmes.
According to the jury, the entries were presented in assorted genres and covered diverse content with high quality. They also accurately and properly reflected pressing issues relating to cultural development and the building of elegant and civilised style among Hanoians.

At the award ceremony, the organising board presented 33 prizes for best journalistic entries, including three A, five B, 10 C prizes, and 15 consolation prizes.
A group of journalists from Nhan Dan (People) Newspaper, namely Le Thi Ha, Nguyen Van Phuong, Phung Thi Thuy Duong, Do Thi Diem Quynh, and Nguyen Huong Tra, won one C prize for their work entitled ‘Seeking directions for cultural community spaces’.
