At the conference, members shared and discussed many important contents related to current food safety risks and response solutions that need to be implemented in the future. This is an extremely urgent issue that greatly affects the development of the entire instant noodle industry.

One of the important contents of this event is that members reviewed the progress of implementing a number of the industry's sustainable commitments, focusing on four areas, including Nutrition and health, Sustainable environment, Food safety and Solving other social problems.

These are all commitments that contribute to enhancing the value of the instant noodle industry in the new era, making an important contribution to the development of society. Members also shared progress in implementing their goals, after one year of implementation and reaffirmed that the entire industry will continue to focus on these four priority areas.

Box: The World Instant Noodles Association was launched in 1997, in pursuit of the healthy development of the industry. Momofuku Ando, the inventor of instant noodles, left the remark “A company should develop itself as a forest rather than a lone cedar tree out in the field”. WINA is precisely the association of standing for this spirit.

WINA's primary role is to accumulate and share information about technical issues related to the quality development of instant noodles so that people can enjoy instant noodles with safety and trust.

Vietnam is one of the countries with the highest demand for instant noodles in the world. This demand is still on an increasing trend each year. In particular, according to WINA's aggregated data in 2022, Vietnam's total demand for instant noodles ranks third in the world (about 8.5 billion packages), and ranks first in the world, in terms of the average number of packages consumed per capita. On average, each Vietnamese person eats 85 packs of noodles per year.
