The Agricultural Trade Promotion Centre under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development announced the information at a press conference held in Hanoi on September 20.
Covering an area of 1,000 sq.m, the festival will display agricultural products that meet OCOP standards of 3 stars or higher, products with protected geographical indications, organic products, typical products, and specialties of the participating localities.
The event’s highlight will be a live stream session on the TikTok channel 'Cho Phien OCOP' (OCOP Market) from 10 am to 1 pm on October 4, with signature products of each locality being on sale.
The festival will also include a discussion among e-commerce experts and key opinion leaders (KOL) on promoting and selling local products on digital platforms and a display of artworks and products that took part in previous craft competitions.
Speaking at the press conference, Nguyen Minh Tien, Director of the Agricultural Trade Promotion Centre under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, said that the annual festival aims to honour traditional crafts, craft villages, and craft artisans while helping to boost the consumption of craft products in localities.
