The province’s economic sectors recorded relatively high growth rates: industry and construction increased by 14.84%; services by 9.14%; and agriculture, forestry and fisheries by 2.47%.
The economic structure continued to shift in a positive direction: agriculture, forestry and fisheries accounted for 11.73%; industry and construction accounted for 55.58% (with industry alone accounting for 45.18%); services accounted for 26.86%; and taxes on products less subsidies on products accounted for 5.83%.
Since the beginning of the year, investors in Hung Yen Province have commenced a number of industrial park, industrial cluster and key transport infrastructure projects, creating additional room for attracting investment and developing production, including Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park (Green iP-3), Industrial Park No. 10, Tho Hoang Industrial Park, Lac Dao Industrial Cluster, Da Loc Industrial Cluster, and the project to build side roads and overpasses along the route connecting cultural and tourism heritage sites and promoting economic development along the Red River in Hung Yen Province.
Hung Yen Province is focusing on providing strong and comprehensive leadership and direction for solutions to promote socio-economic development; proactively removing “bottlenecks” and “obstacles”; accelerating the disbursement of public investment capital; improving the investment and business environment; promoting digital transformation; supporting businesses; and unlocking development resources. This is accompanied by the partnership and efforts of the business community and the consensus and contributions of people from all walks of life.
Hung Yen Province is striving to achieve an economic growth target of 11.5% in 2026.
