The information was released at a press conference on the 2023 Vietnam Craft Villages Festival and the 19th Vietnam Craft Village Fair, which was held in Hanoi.

The 19th Vietnam Craft Village Fair features the participation of more than 100 domestic and international units and businesses from Laos, Indonesia, Thailand and Russia.

With more than 300 pavilions, the fair introduces many typical handicraft products of traditional craft villages and streets throughout the country, including agricultural products that meet the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Programme’s standards.

The fair will be divided into separate display spaces, including the Hanoi craft village space, introducing typical handicraft products by craftsmen around the capital city and a space displaying and introducing international handicraft products.

In addition, there is also a space to display the handicrafts participating in the Vietnam Handicraft Products Contest. The heritage craft village space features 25 pavilions of traditional crafts from 19 provinces and cities, which have been included in the list of national intangible cultural heritages.

Notably, visitors will have the chance to experience OCOP products and the typical culinary culture of various localities.
